Alright,here's the lore.
Stel's species has existed for over 200 years and their main habitats are abbandoned mines due to minerals that have helped them survive starvation(dehydration doesn't affect them badly,only makes them more tired).As Stel said,their species has evolved to consume everything due to the lack of insects that enter the mines,in exchange of losing the tastebuds(so everything tastes blank to them).To know which is male or female:
-The males are born with a very light color,completely liquid,but as they age,the color skin becomes darker and darker and also lose the ability to be liquid and become completely solid,forced to choose an appearance before turning 50 years old;
-The females are born with a more active color but don't turn liquid or shapeshift in any way compared to the males.As they age,instead of turning a darker skin like the males,they lose color until almost gray or pale in rare cases.
